Madison, NJ (October 28) - The FDU-Florham men's soccer team battled against Lycoming College, which was ranked fifth in the second edition of the NCAA Region IV Rankings, under the lights on Friday. The Warriors came from behind for the 2-1 MAC Freedom win.

Both teams hit the pitch with an aggressive start, but it was the Devils who struck first in the 13th minute of the game. Sophomore
Irfan Kermalli (Parisppany, NJ) gathered the ball off a turnover and was able to place it just ahead of
Mattia Assante Di Cupillo (Toms River, NJ), who took a single step and ripped the ball into back of the net from 25 yards out.
Lycoming scored off a free kick with 20 minutes left in the first half. Keller Chamovitz took the free kick for the Warriors, placing it four yards out from the goal and Jaeden Asare was able to chip the free kick in to tie the score 1-1.
In the second half, both teams had multiple shots on goal. It was Lycoming's Owen Magee who scored the game winning goal with six minutes left to play. Magee was assisted by Joe Bambo off his shot that was saved by FDU-Florham keeper
Tiernan Grey (Staten Island, NY).
Grey tallied a total of four saves and faced six shots in today's contest.
FDU-Florham will be the 4th or 5th seed in the MAC Freedom playoffs, pending the results of tomorrow's contests. The first round of the playoffs will take place on Tuesday, November 1 at a site and time to be determined following the conclusion of the regular season.
