Madison, NJ (October 18) – FDU-Florham women's soccer sophomore
Mia Lopez (Rockaway, NJ) registered her sixth game winning goal of the season as she led the Devils to a 2-1 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) win over Arcadia University on Tuesday evening.
Lopez registered her sixth game winning goal of the season which ties her for the most in Division III women's soccer this year.

FDU-Florham got on the board with 6:10 to play in the first half as
Carly Santucci (Middlesex, NJ) headed the ball into the left side of the net off a corner kick by
Francesca Escudero (Bridgewater, NJ).
Arcadia knotted the game at 1-1 early in the second half as Shelby Jones headed the ball past the Devils backline.
Lopez ripped a shot towards net in the 72nd minute and ricocheted it off the hands of Arcadia keeper Amelia Orr as the ball fell into the back of the net for the 2-1 edge. FDU-Florham's defense held the Knights without a shot over the final 18 minutes of play to secure the crucial MAC Freedom victory.
With the win, FDU-Florham registered its first victory in program history over Arcadia in the all-time series which dates back to 2007. The two goals were also the most in a single game in the series for the Devils against the Knights.

Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ) registered six saves in net for the Devils and improved to 13-4-0 on the year, one win shy of tying the program record for most victories in a single season.
FDU-Florham will travel to King's College (Pa.) for another MAC Freedom matchup on Friday, October 21 at 7:00 pm.
