Union, NJ (September 8) –The FDU-Florham women's soccer team was shutout tonight, 2-0, on the road at Kean University in a non-conference matchup at Alumni Stadium.

First Half:
- FDU held a slim 4-3 advantage in shots over the opening 45 minutes of action and forced Kean keeper Julia Masucci to make a pair of saves.
Second Half:
- Kean's offense came to life in the second half as the hosts scored twice in ten and a half minutes to secure the win. In the 64th minute, Gracie Casais found Delaney McGlade and then Casais registered her first goal of the year on a feed by Celine Brady in the 75th minute.
- FDU had a couple of looks at the net with under ten to play but it wasn't enough as Kean came away with the 2-0 win.
At the end of 90 minutes, Kean held a 17-13 edge in shots, while both teams were awarded three corner kicks. FDU keeper
Ashley Paulino (Linden, NJ), who remains one victory away from breaking the all-time wins record made two saves for the Devils tonight.
FDU will welcome William Paterson University to Elizabeth Ruth Hennessy Field on Saturday at 12:00 pm in its next contest.
