The Gothic Knights jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles at No. 1 (8-2), No. 2 (8-1) and No. 3 (8-6). The No. 3 duo of
JT Murray (Bayville, NJ) and
Ronald Duval (Old Bridge, NY) gave NJCU's No. 3 pairing a fight, but the visitors came out on top in the end.
The closest match in singles action came from the No. 5 position between
Matthew Emery (Howell, NJ) and Gerad Loras. It was Loras who edged Emery by scores of 7-6, 6-4.

The Devils travel to Wilkes University for the 2021 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Individual Championship this weekend. Action is slated to get underway on Saturday, September 18 at 9:00 am.
