MADISON, NJ (April 21, 2021)- FDU Women's Lacrosse completed conference play on Wednesday evening, hosting DeSales University at Robert T. Shields Field and winning, 19-3. With the win, the Devils complete a perfect 8-0 conference season and earn a MAC Freedom regular season title.
 
Recap
After the Bulldogs took an early 1-0 lead, FDU went on a three-goal run to grab a 3-1 advantage. First year Katie Walsh netted two, one off the assist from senior Madison Wood and senior Olivia Chaoush added one. DeSales responded to cut the lead to 3-2, before the Devils took over. FDU scored the next 11 goals of the half to hold a 13-2 advantage at the break and the first two goals of half two, grabbing a 15-2 lead. In the 13-goal run, Walsh and sophomore Kylee Garcia scored three, Wood, Chaoush, senior Aliyha Elk, first year Aubrey Hunter, senior Emma Ciquera, and senior Mia Michaelides all added one.
 
The Devils would tack on four more in the second half off the sticks of Walsh twice, Garcia, Wood and Michaelides. FDU secured the 19-3 victory.
 
Lead Devil
Walsh finished the game with six goals, an assist and eight draw controls.
 
Senior Day
FDU Women's Lacrosse honored it's six seniors today, Wood, Chaoush, Michaelides, Elk, Hannah Bhend and Kayla Brunner.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 24 at 1pm when they host Albright College for the final game of the regular season.
