Paige Frye.
Down one with 7:12 left in the first half, Walsh capitalized, again. After a draw control win and ground ball scoop, Garcia gave her the feed and Walsh finished, regaining the lead once again, 7-6. This time, the Devils stayed on top, for good. FDU went on to score three more goals and 4 straight overall, thanks to Garcia man-up and Walsh and Walsh, again. LVC would add one more late, giving FDU a 10-7 lead at the break.

From Coach
"Really tight first half, but it was great to see the transition into the second half and cleaning up decisions. 20 out of 22 goals coming from two sophomores and a first-year is not only amazing in the game, but amazing for the future as well. Having a first-year breaking FDU records so early on is something to be extremely excited about. I am proud of the players for getting to this point and doing what we are doing, but we have a long season ahead and lots of goals to meet." - Head Coach,
Evan Mager
