MADISON, NJ (March 17, 2021)- FDU Women's Lacrosse hosted Arcadia University at Robert T. Shields Field on Wednesday evening, winning their third straight game, 16-3. With the victory, the Devils improve to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the MAC Freedom while the Knights fall to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the Freedom play.

First Half
FDU came out on fire in the first half, scoring two in the first two-minutes of play, one off the stick of first-year
Aubrey Hunter and another from first-year
Katie Walsh, assisted by Hunter. Less than 30-seconds later, Walsh added her second of the game off another assist from Hunter. With the Devils up 3-0, sophomore goalkeeper
Maddy Apap saved two shots off the sticks of Knight attackers, keeping the advantage at three. After the Apap stops, Walsh netted her third, giving the Devils a 4-0 advantage.

FDU added two more within one-minute of each other at 20:41 and 20:04, off the sticks of Walsh, her fourth and sophomore

Kylee Garcia. The Devils would increase their lead to 8-0 at the 16:20 and 12:57 marks, thanks to goals from junior
Paige Frye assisted by Chaoush and senior
Mia Michaelides assisted by Walsh. Arcadia scored their first off the game at the 7:09 mark, before Walsh responded for FDU with under five remaining in the half. The Knights added one more before halftime, the Devils lead was 9-2 at the break.

Second Half
FDU scored six straight goals to start the second half. The goal scorers were Michaelides with her second of the game, Garcia with two, Chaoush with her first and senior
Aliyha Elk with two. The Devils held a 15-2 advantage with 9:30 remaining in the game.

Arcadia would go on to score their only goal of the half at the 5:20 mark, with the Devils adding one more shortly after off the stick of Ciquera. When the buzzer sounded, FDU finished the victory 16-3.
Lead Devil
Walsh followed her record setting day on Saturday with an equally as great performance on Wednesday. She finished with seven points, five goals, two assists, 10 ground balls and five shots on goal. She has 14 combined points in her last two games.
Record Setting
It was another record setting day for women's lacrosse, with Walsh and Hunter both finishing with 10 ground balls, moving them into the top spot on the programs all-time single game record list.

Is that a Wall?
Apap faced 12 shots and made nine saves on the day. She now improves to 3-0 on the season in net for the Devils.

Apples to Apples
In total, FDU had eight assists on 16 goals, including Hunter, Garcia and Walsh who each finished with two apiece and Chaoush and Michaelides who added one.
