Danbury, Conn. (November 8) – The FDU-Florham field hockey team has earned a spot in the 2021 Division III Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament as the committee announced its selections this morning.
 
FDU, the second seed in pod number two, will host third seeded Cabrini University on Wednesday, November 10 at 4:00 pm on Robert T. Shields Field. This year's appearance in the ECAC Tournament will be the 11th overall for the Devils and first since the 2017 season. 

The Devils enter the tournament with a 10-8 record following an appearance in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) semifinals, while Cabrini (11-8) ended its season as champions of the Atlantic East Conference after the Cavaliers topped St. Mary's (Md.), 2-1, in double overtime.

The winner of Wednesday's matchup will advance to the semifinal round of the ECAC Tournament. Both semifinal contests as well as the championship game will take play this weekend, November 13-14 at a site to be determined by the committee following the opening round.
