FDU enters the semifinal round with an 11-8 overall record after the Devils defeated Cabrini University, 2-1, in the quarterfinals on Wednesday evening on Robert T. Shields Field. Haleigh Flukey (Ocean City, NJ), the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Year, accounted for the entirety of FDU's offense against the Cavaliers as she posted her 14th and 15th goals of the season in the victory.

Flukey was joined on the All-MAC Freedom teams this year by Rookie of the Year Ashley Moskal (Washington, NJ) and First Teamers Megan March (Glen Burnie, Md.) and Sydney Moskal (Washington, NJ).

The Devils are making their 11th appearance in the ECAC Tournament and first under the direction of head coach Maura Johnston. FDU has never won the ECAC Tournament, but did reach the championship round in both 2012 and 2017 all under former head coach and current Athletic Director Jenn Noon. In 2012, FDU topped Wesley and Alvernia, 2-1, in overtime and in 2017, the Devils edged Arcadia and Widener, 1-0.

FDU will play Misericordia University for the third time this season tomorrow afternoon on the campus of Ramapo College. The Cougars topped the Devils, 3-1, in their regular season matchup and 1-0 in double overtime in the MAC Freedom semifinals. Both of those contests took place on Mangelsdorf Field on the campus of Misericordia in Dallas, Pa.

Misericordia defeated Marywood University, 3-0, in the opening round of the ECAC Tournament on Wednesday. Two of the Cougars goals came from Olivia Kempf, while Meghan Radnoff added their third goal in the win. Five Cougars were named to the All-MAC Freedom teams including Allie Bianco, Morgan Walsh, Anna Effinger, Mikayla Cavenas and Olivia Gretz.

The winner of this semifinal will play either Ramapo College or Widener University for the ECAC Division III Championship title on Sunday afternoon at 12:00 pm. Neither team faced Widener this fall, but FDU topped Ramapo, 3-2, in double overtime, while Misericordia lost to the Roadrunners, 5-2.
