Women's Soccer Rallies to Defeat Bryn Mawr, 2-1, on Senior Day

Madison, NJ (October 30) – After 82 minutes of scoreless action, all three goals in today's non-conference women's soccer matchup between Bryn Mawr College and FDU-Florham came in the final eight minutes of regulation. The Devils scored twice in four minutes to earn the 2-1 win in the regular season finale.

Prior to the start of today's matchup, the Devils honored their two seniors Carlie Mullins (North Arlington, NJ) and Sydney Weber (Marlboro, NJ) as well as their six graduate students.

Location: Robert T. Shields Field
FDU Goal Scorers: Daniella Conanan (1), Carly Santucci (2)

Bryn Mawr broke the 0-0 tie in the 83rd minute when Kass Wojcik crossed the ball from the right side to Elizabeth Kiely, who finished for her second goal of the season. FDU regrouped and responded less than two minutes later. Tatiana Nieto (Clark, NJ) shoveled the ball to Daniella Conanan (Hazlet, NJ), who took one step and rocketed the ball into the right corner of the net, for the equalizer and the first goal of her career.

With 1:22 remaining in regulation, FDU was awarded a corner kick. Nieto lined up on the near side and Carly Santucci (Middlesex, NJ) headed the ball into the net for the game winning goal. Santucci's goal was her second of the season.

FDU keeper Ashley Paulino (Linden, NJ) made eight saves in a complete game in net for the Devils, while the Bryn Mawr goalkeeping duo stopped the ball twice.

The Devils, which learned today that they would be the fourth seed in next week's Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) postseason tournament, will host Wilkes University on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:00 in the first round.
