Glenside, Pa. (October 20) – The FDU-Florham women's soccer team fell to Arcadia University, 3-1, in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchup on the road tonight. Arcadia scored the first three goals of the game en route to the win.

Arcadia scored once in the first and twice in the second before FDU could score its lone goal of the game tonight. Kira Bochard got the scoring started as she headed the ball into the net off a free kick by Rachael Mahlau-Heinert in the 15th minute.
In the second half, Arcadia got its second goal in the 49th minute as Amanda Thaler scored off a cross by Morgan Giordano and its third goal in the 72nd minute when Caroline Weirich finished a pass from Giordano.
FDU scored its lone goal in the 74th minute as
Tatiana Nieto (Clark, NJ) converted a penalty kick for her fourth goal of the season.
Arcadia held a slight 21-20 edge in shots (9-6 on goal) and the Knights did not allow FDU to take a corner kick over the 90 minute match as they held a 5-0 edge in the category.
Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ) made six saves in net tonight for the Devils.
FDU will host #7/7 Misericordia University on Saturday, October 23 at 4:00 pm
