Box Score MADISON, NJ (February 15, 2020)- FDU Men's Basketball defeated Delaware Valley University on Saturday, 83-71. With the win, the Devils improve to 11-12 overall and 6-6 in the MAC Freedom Conference, while the Aggies fall 6-16 overall and 2-10 in the conference.
FIRST HALF
The game was back and forth early, with FDU holding a 9-8 advantage at the 16:00 minute mark. Del Val would grab hold of the lead at 11:27 on a two-point basket, 16-15. The game would remain tied through the nine-minute mark with the Devils regaining the lead 24-23 on a freshman

Kenneth LaRocca. That would start an 8-0 run for the Devils, resulting in a 29-23 lead with 5:26 remaining in the half. Each team would score 10 points down the stretch, with FDU holding a 39-33 advantage at the break.
SECOND HALF
FDU would expand its lead to 10 off a junior
Oliver Ortman jumper at 17:05. The Aggies continued to battle, cutting the Devil lead to two with eight-minutes remaining, 60-59. Four straight points from Ortman would start a FDU 9-0 run, capped off by a freshman
Andrew Schulz three. Again, Del Val fought back, cutting the lead to five, 72-67 with 3:30 left in the game. Freshman
Devon Murray had the response, knocking down a three off an assist from senior
Andy Fleurantin. Less than a minute later, it was Fleurantin again, this time with two-points of his own from the free throw line. The Devils would control the game down the stretch to secure the victory.
LEAD DEVIL
It was another great shooting day for Ortman, knocking down 10 of his 15 field goal attempts for 25 points. He also added five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
SECOND IN CHARGE
Fleurantin continued his great offensive season, scoring 20 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field and finishing with seven rebounds and four assists.
NATIONAL NUMBERS
After taking over the nation's lead for assist turnover ratio, LaRocca continued his ways, grabbing five assists on the day.
