YOUTH FOOTBALL DAY
The Devils are hosting their annual Youth Football Day, where youths wearing their football jersey will be admitted free. All youth coaches will be admitted free, while youth parents will be charged $5.
LAST WEEK RECAP
The Devils opened their season last week with a 56-48 road victory at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
SERIES HISTORY
In last year's contest, FDU defeated WPU 31-27. The Devils are 1-2 all-time versus the Pioneers.
HOME SWEET HOME
FDU returned to the same field in which they had a 3-2 record at last season, including a home-opening victory versus The College of New Jersey.

William Paterson comes off a 12-9 opening week overtime loss to Western Connecticut State. In 2018, WPU had a 0-10 record.
DEVILS IN THE NEWS
Junior Anthony Caserta and senior Nick Maciejewski received MAC Players of Week honors last week for their performances against USMMA. In his first collegiate start, Caserta earned himself the nod as MAC Offensive Player of the Week as he threw for a school-record seven touchdown passes. Maciejewski earned the distinction of MAC Special Teams Player of the Week due to his stellar 8-for-8 completion on point-after touchdown (PAT).
PRICE IS RIGHT
Senior receiver Damarquis Price was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his 10 catches, 223 yards and three touchdown performance against USMMA. He hauled in scoring grabs of 20, 18, and three yards.
BREAKING RECORDS
Caserta record-breaking seven touchdown passes came off a total of 462 passing yards on a 30-51 pass completion. The Bronx, N.Y. product longest pass of the game was a 76-yard completion to Price.
GETTING THE BALL
On the defensive end, the Devils ability to put pressure on the USMMA offense was vital in getting the FDU record-setting offense back on the field. Senior Jose Caceres shined as he recorded 13 tackles, including 11 solo tackles. Caceres stifled the USMMA offense as he recovered two fumbles. Freshman Jafar Sannie made his presence known in his collegiate debut, as he forced a Merchant Marine fumble. Sophomore Jake Swindasz came up big for the Devils defense as he picked up his first career interception in the endzone to cap off the first half.
RUNNING, RUNNING AND MORE RUNNING
The Devils garnered a total of 178 yards on the ground, including 131 yards from senior Robert Blakely. Blakely also ran for a score in the Devils win.
