WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (April 27, 2019) - The FDU-Florham men's tennis team was edged by host King's College 5-4 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom action Saturday.
FDU drops to 14-8 on the season, 4-3 in the MAC Freedom. In tying with DeSales University and King's, FDU earned the No. 4 seed in next week's MAC Freedom Championship Tournament by virtue of a tiebreaker.

JT Murray fell 8-5 at No. 2 doubles, as rookies

John Bricker were doubled up 8-4. At the top of the lineup, senior

Kevin Weller dropped an 8-2 decision.
Weller earned a key victory 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, with Fiorenza notching a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 triumph at the fourth flight. The Monarchs picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, but the Devils responded with three-set victories at No. 4 and No. 6. Murray bounces back after falling in the first set, winning the second 7-6 (5-0) before taking the third 10-6. LaNeve also in the first set, but won 7-5 and 10-6 in the next two.
