Teaneck, NJ (November 6, 2019) - The Fairleigh Dickinson Men's Basketball team dropped an exhibition contest to Division 1 FDU Metro by a score of 101-52. The game, which doesn't count towards the overall record for the Devils, moves the Knights to 1-0 on the year.
For all 40 minutes the Devils held their own led by Junior
Oliver Ortman who finished with 13 points and three made 3 pointers. Other contributors for the Devils include Senior Kenneth Larocca who had 8 points and 5 rebounds and Senior
Andy Fleurantin who scored 8 points.
The game was a great opportunity to bring the athletic departments from both the Metropolitan and Florham campuses together. Over 30 students from the Florham campus took a fan bus to the game to show their support.
With their final tune-up in the rearview, the Devils now turn their focus to their season opening game November 12th against the College of Saint Elizabeth. That game will be played at the Ferguson Recreation Center with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
