FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (October 8, 2019) – The FDU men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Farmingdale State College Tuesday.
Freshman

JT Murray won 8-4 at the No. 3 flight, with rookie

Jacob Mostoller and senior
Rich Bennett battled at the top of the lineup. The duo was able to grind out a hard-fought 8-7 (7-3) victory to send the team up 3-0 entering singles.
Carasso made it 2-for-2 with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at the top of the Devils singles lineup, while Bennett cruised to his second victory of the afternoon 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 2 flight. Puccia picked up a walk-over victory, with Mostoller earning a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 4 Newcomer
Kaya Esgun and Fiorenza completed the shutout with wins at the No. 5 and No. 6 respectively. Esgun was victorious 7-5, 6-0 as Fiorenza came away with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph.
