MADISON, N.J. (October 11, 2019) – The FDU football team returns to Robert T. Shields Field on Saturday, as they host Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Misericordia in the 2019 Homecoming Game.

HOMECOMING
The Devils have won their past two homecoming games. In last year's homecoming contest, the Devils bested Lebanon Valley by a score of 24-23.
LAST TIME OUT
The Devils came up short last week against Lebanon Valley. The 31-30 defeat came despite a strong late-game surge by FDU. The Devils trailed the Dutchman 31-10 with five minutes left to play in the third quarter, but responded with a 20-0 run, to cut into the deficit. In the game, junior running back
Alnazir Blackman eclipsed 200 total yards, as he had 140 rushing yards and 69 receiving yards.
LAST MEETING
In their 2018 meeting, the Cougars bested the Devils, 37-33. In the game, Blackman garnered 79 total yards.
COUGARS REPORT
Misericordia sits at 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the MAC. In their last game, the Cougars visited Widener and bested the Pride, 40-35. The Cougars also hold wins over MAC foes, Lebanon Valley, and King's. Misericordia is currently on a three-game winning streak.

The Devils offensive unit ranks second among MAC teams in total yards on the season, with 2690. FDU also ranks second in passing yards, with 1908. In rushing yards, the Devils rank fifth, with 782. The Devils 56 points scored in their week one game versus United States Merchant Marine Academy, ranks first among MAC schools in single-game point totals.
MAC STANDOUTS
Caserta is second of all MAC players in total passing yards, with 1861. The junior also ranks second in touchdown passes, with 15. Senior wide receiver
Damarquis Price is third in the MAC in receiving yards, with 533, and is tied for second in touchdown receptions, with six. Blackman ranks fourth in the MAC in rushing yards, with 472. Blackman is also tied for third in rushing touchdowns, with five.
RISING SOPHOMORE
Against Lebanon Valley, sophomore
Connor Perez set a single-game career-best in receiving yards with 126. Perez's performance was highlighted by an 84-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. The sophomore totaled five catches in the contest.
