GALLOWAY, N.J. (September 22, 2018) - The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham volleyball team fell to Cabrini and Moravian in a non-conference action Saturday.

Lauren Harris moves to fourth on the all-time kill leaderboard with 1,238, passing the 1,235, mark set by Deb Faber during the 2002-05 seasons.

Katie Quinlan had a team high 13 kills and freshman
Kacie Ros had a game high 28 assists. Harris added 12 kills and junior
Nathalia Padron had a game high 13 digs.
In the first set to Cabrini, the Devils started off slow losing seven out of the first eight points of the day. After an early FDU-Florham timeout, the teams began trading points until the Devils went on a 9-2 run to make the score, 16-15 in favor of Cabrini. Eight straight points for Cavaliers put the Devils in a tough situation. Harris notched her fifth kill of the match but the Cavaliers won the set on the next point.
The Devils quickly fell behind 15-8 in the second set until an 8-2 run, to make the score 17-16 in favor of Cabrini. The Devils run was fueled by kills from Harris, Padron, and Quinlan. The Cavaliers put an end to the Devils comeback with five straight points to make it 22-16. The Devils scored three out of the next four points but a Cabrini kill followed by a Devil's attack error seal the set for Cabrini 25-19.
The Devils held their first lead of the match when they started the third set with two quick points. Cabrini responded with three of the own but the Devils rallied back to score the next four points to make the score 6-3. The teams continued to trade points, however the Cavaliers never led until they went on a 4-0 run to push the score 13-11 in favor of Cabrini. After an FDU-Florham called a timeout with the score 15-12, the Devils went on a 5-1 run to reclaim the lead 17-16. The Cavaliers rattled off a 6-0 run which the Devils were never able to rebound from losing the third set 25-21.
MORAVIAN 3, FDU-FLORHAM 1 (21-25, 26-24, 25-23, 27-25)
Harris led the Devils 23 kills in the four set setback, while Quinlan added 13. Padron totaled four aces and 20 digs which were tops on the team. The Devils held a 12-9 edge in service aces during the match.
For her efforts, Quinlan was selected to the Osprey Invitational All-Tournament Team.
The Devils will travel to Dallas, Pennsylvania on Wednesday September 26, to play the Misericordia Cougars in conference play.
