MADISON, N.J. (May 1, 2018) - The FDU men's tennis team earned the No. 3 seed in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship and will be facing No. 2 seed King's Wednesday.

The match will take place Wednesday afternoon at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. beginning at 3:30 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Devils suffered just their fourth loss of the season when they fell 9-0 to Wilkes last Saturday.
FLIP THE SCRIPT?
The last time the two teams met, it was the Monarchs who came out with a 6-3 victory. FDU fell in a pair of doubles matches, and two of the matches went into a third set tiebreaker.

"This is my fourth appearance in the playoffs and I'm very excited to see what we as a team can do this postseason," said senior
Max Moscowitz. "King's is out biggest rival in the conference and always a tough matchup but this match is very winnable. It's going to take a strong team effort to get the W."
TOURNAMENT INFO
Wilkes claimed the No. 1 seed, and will host No. 4 seed DeSales, also beginning at 3:30 p.m. The two winners will meet at the site of the highest on Saturday, with a time to be announced.
CENTURY-MARK
Seniors
Chris Ly and
Max Moscowitz earned their 100th career win within a day of each this season. Ly crossed the century mark in a win against the College of St. Elizabeth, while Moscowitz reached it against Eastern. Those two are the program leaders in career victories.
WHOA, WE'RE HALFWAY THERE!
Senior
Steven Serras and sophomore
Kevin Weller also hit milestones this season, with each recording their 50th career victory. Serras hit 50 wins in a triumph over DeSales, while Weller registered win No. 50 against Misericordia.

AWARD SEASON
Fiorenza and Ly have each claimed MAC Freedom Player of the Week honors this year. The sophomore Fiorenza notched the accolade on October 9 after a perfect 6-0 week, while Ly got it on April 16. For Ly, it was the fourth Player of the Week nod of his career.
ON THE BRINK
The Devils are one victory away from breaking the school-record with 16 wins in a season. Presently, FDU is tied with the 2006 team with 15 wins. That 2006 squad advanced to the MAC Freedom Championship match.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
"We are excited about playing King's again," said Head Coach
Tom Battaglia. "Once we lost to them, our goal was to get back to Wilkes Barre to play them in the postseason. Our team has put in a lot of work since the first time we saw them, so hopefully our efforts pay off. We need to be stronger at the end of our lineup. Guys like Tyler (Schacher) and Steven (Serras) have to come through for us if we have a shot. I think they are playing the best they have all season."
