DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (April 8, 2018) - The FDU baseball team topped Delaware Valley 6-3 in the first game before falling 3-2 in the nightcap Sunday.
The Devils are now 7-13 on the season and 2-6 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom.
GAME 1: FDU-Florham 6, Delaware Valley 3 (11 innings)

Nate Peacock walked with one out and moved to second on a wild pitch. Senior
Reynaldo Diaz knocked Peacock in with a single to center, giving FDU a 1-0 lead.
Senior
Kenny Carrier allowed a leadoff single in the first, but promptly picked the runner off. The Aggies would add two runs in the frame, grabbing a 2-1 lead. Carrier settled down and didn't allow other hit until the fifth inning.
The Devils knotted the game at two in the fourth, as seniors
Joseph Bonaccorso and
David Wilbur reached base to begin the inning. Freshman Joe Moscowitz sacrificed the runners up and junior

Carrier got through eight before the Devils grabbed a lead in the ninth. Senior

AJ Yurista. The Aggies prevented the win however, scoring on an infield hit in the bottom half of the inning.
The 10th inning went by scoreless before FDU exploded for three runs in the 11th. Tufano was hit by a pitch while junior
Kevin Smiegocki was hit with a pitch. Wilbur singled home Tufano, while Smiegocki crossed home a

GAME 2: Delaware Valley 3, FDU-Florham 2
The Aggies drew first blood in game two, scoring their first run on a balk. The hosts closed out their scoring with two more in the second, leading 3-0 after two. Freshman

Trailing 3-0 entering the fourth, the Devils chipped away. Diaz reached on a fielding error and moved to second a Franco single. With two down, Bonaccorso reached on another error, allowing Diaz to score.
FDU racked on another run in the sixth, starting with a one out walk to
Jack Paladino. Bonaccorso singled to left, and Moscowitz singled in Paladino with a hit to center. That would be as close as the Devils would get, as they were set down 1-2-3 in the seventh.
