MADISON – The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's lacrosse team topped St. Joseph's College (LI) in non-conference play, 15-8, Thursday afternoon at Robert T. Shields Field.
The Devils improve to 5-4 as the Golden Eagles drop to 2-5 on the season.

St. Joseph's College (LI) was able to find the net twice, but the Devils continued to pile on an aggressive offense and left half time with a dominant 12-2 lead.
The Golden Eagles found some momentum in the second half, scoring six, but Damon, Petrucelli and graduate student
Noelle Shirey scored three more to seal the deal.

Caroline Pape each finished with three goals in the contest while Damon, Vastano and senior
Samantha Holleritter added two tallies each.
Holleritter led the Devils with five ground balls and three caused turnovers and added two assists and two draw controls.
Shirey also won four draw controls and caused two turnovers as Petrucelli picked up two assists in addition to her three goals.

Aliyha Elk was a positive force for the Devils all game long and caused two turnovers, picked up two groundballs and won two draw controls.
Up next, the Devils open up Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom play against Wilkes University on Saturday, April 7 at 1 p.m. in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
