Freshman
Abbey Scarengelli retired the first two hitters in the second on a strikeout and groundout, but King's would score two unearned runs as a potential third out resulted in an error. A double and a single later made the score 3-0. The rookie got through the third, ending the frame with a punch out.
King's blew the game open in the fourth, notching five runs. Of the five hits in the inning, none were extra base hits. FDU went down in order in the fifth, ending the game with the 8-0 margin.

Courtney Rohde, who hit

FDU broke through in the second, as Mangini led off with a single and Rohde reached on a fielder's choice. Senior
Frannie Jarin singled to load the bases before Morash singled in Mangini with a hit to left center. After a pitching change, Young worked a bases loaded walk to drive in another run.

Kaleigh Oplinger worked a scoreless second and third, retiring the side in order during the third. Young walked with one down in the fourth and promptly swiped second. Freshman

A harmless fly ball ended the inning.
