MADISON, N.J. (October 26, 2018) - The FDU-Florham football team returns home Saturday to host Lebanon Valley as part of Homecoming.
GAME INFO
Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Robert T. Shields Field in Madison, N.J.
TICKET INFO
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, children over 12 and visiting students, and free for FDU students/faculty/staff with a valid ID.
WELCOME HOME
FDU will celebrate Homecoming this weekend. There will be a variety of activities happening on campus Saturday, while the 1993 Football Team will be honored at halftime of the game.
WELCOME MADISON
All Madison, N.J. residents with a valid ID will be admitted free to the game.
LAST TIME OUT
The Devils dropped a heartbreaker to Misericordia 37-33 last Saturday. Senior
Jagger Green accounted for three touchdowns, (two passing, one rushing) in the setback.
THAT'S SPECIAL
Special teams played a big role in the game, scoring two touchdowns. Junior
Josh Rainey took a punt back 90 yards, while freshman
Anthony Sangillo recovered a blocked punt in the endzone.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
With his 90 yard return, Rainey was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
LEB VAL REPORT
The Dutchmen enter the game with an overall record of 0-7, 0-5 within the MAC. Three of their losses have been by 10 points or less. Ryan Fink leads the team with four rushing touchdowns.
DEEEEE-ANDRE
Freshman
Deandre Carter had a big game on the defensive end Saturday. He had two pass breakups and registered his first career interception on Misericordia's first drive of the second half. Carter also had a big special teams play, blocking the punt that Sangillo fell on in the endzone.
SERIES HISTORY
Lebanon Valley holds a 16-5 edge in 21 previous meetings, including 13 straight wins. Last season, Lebanon Valley picked up a 24-14 win in Annville, Pa.
