DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (October 16, 2018) - The FDU-Florham volleyball team defeated Delaware Valley 3-0(25-18, 25-12, 25-9)

The Devils improve 11-17 overall and to 4-2 in MAC Freedom play, while the Aggies dropped to 4-14 overall and winless in the MAC Freedom.

Senior Lauren Harris had a game high 15 kills and a team high 18 digs, as freshman Kacie Ros had a game high 26 assists. Senior Katie Quinlan added 7 kills and sophomore Rebecca Morse had a game high 13 digs.

In the first set the teams went back and forth until with the score 10-11 in favor of the Aggies, the Devils went on 9-1 run to pull ahead 19-12. During the run the Devils took advantage of four Aggie errors and two Harris kills. The Aggies tried to comeback but a Harris kill with the score 24-18 sealed the set for FDU-Florham.

During the second set, the Devils went on five separate runs of scoring three or more consecutive points. Senior Marisaa Lehnert had two aces during the set, and Quinlan added four kills for the Devils.

After falling behind 5-4 in the third set, the Devils went on a 17-1 rally to put the set out of reach. During the run, the Devils took advantage of nine Aggie errors. The teams traded goals towards the end, but the game was out of reach and the Devils won 25-9.

The Devils will travel to Newark, New Jersey on Saturday October 20, to compete in a tri-match against Rutgers-Newark and John Jay College.
