Freshman
Ashley Paulino was tested early in goal, making three saves in the first 19 minutes. The Bulldogs struck for two goals in just under two minutes, as Angelica Bertola tallied both. She took a deflected clear and dribbled around the goalie for her first tally, before taking a pass and moving around the goalie for second. Bertola completed her hat-trick in the 34th minute, this time converting a penalty kick.
The Devils recorded their first shot in the 59 minute, but Bertola added her final tally of the game, once again taking advantage of a defensive miscue. Rosa broke through in the 72nd minute, taking a shot from the corner and putting it just over the keeper's arms. The hosts would add goals in the 83rd and 84th minute to establish the final margin.
Paulino made five saves in the setback, while senior defender
Missy Quinn had two shots.
