MADISON, N.J. (September 1, 2017) - Juniors Lauren Harris and Katie Quinlan each notched 12 kills to lead the FDU volleyball team to a 25-3, 25-9, 25-15 win Friday.

The Devils hit a blistering .579 with no attack errors in the opening set, while holding CSI to a -.300 clip. Seniors Courtney Conte and Melissa Gaffney combined to score the opening nine points, while sophomore Nathalia Padron served up seven straight markers to close out the set, finishing the frame with an ace.

CSI kept the second set close, but FDU would tally 10 of 11 points to push their lead to double digits.Freshman Deanna Schuster served up her first career ace, and would find Gaffney for the set ending kill. With FDU up 7-4 in the third, Conte dished out a trio of assists which led to kills, forcing the Dolphins into a timeout. CSI staved off a pair of match points, before Gaffney ended the match with a kill.

FDU hit .443 with 43 total kills, and limited the Dolphins to a mere 10 kills and a -.033 hitting percentage. Quinlan and Marissa Lehnert each totaled a solo block, and Conte handed out 31 assists.

FDU will return home Wednesday, hosting Muhlenberg at 7 p.m.
