MADISON, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham women's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day with an 18-1 conference win over Wilkes University on Saturday afternoon at Robert T. Shields Field.
The Devils continue their nine-game win streak and move to 14-3 on the season and 7-0 in the MAC Freedom as the Colonels dropped to 5-10 overall and 0-7 in the conference.
The team celebrated the six seniors of
Brienna Reasoner,
Joelle Manganella,
Brittni Calleo,
Frances Maggio,
Laura Cannillo and
Kelsey Ryan.
Maggio led the Devils' attack with four goals and four assists while Reasoner tallied three goals and caused two turnovers.Â
FDU-Florham took command of the game from the start, outshooting the Colonels, 29-7, and picked up 27 ground balls to Wilkes' 14.Â
It took the Devils just five minutes to grab a 4-0 lead courtesy of marks from Reasoner, Cannillo and senior

FDU-Florham defense of
Kelsey Ryan and
Leah Eble thwarted most Wilkes' offensive threats while sophomores
Megan Nemeth and
Erin Gill split time in net and made two saves each in the win.Â
Shirey, Manganella, Cannillo and junior
Samantha Holleritter each added two goals in the victory and junior
Cassidy Vastano and sophomores
Caroline Pape and
Kathleen Petrucelli each notched one goal.
Up next, the top-seeded Devils will play King's College (Pa.) in the first-round of the MAC Freedom Championships at a time to be determined on Wednesday, May 3 at Robert T. Shields Field.
