WILKES BARRE, Pa. (April 29, 2017) - The FDU men's tennis claimed the No. 2 seed in next week's Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Tournament with a 5-4 win over King's Saturday.
The Devils will the Monarchs again on Tuesday, at a date and time to be announced.
FDU dropped both the first two matches and No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively, but managed to battle back with the bottom half of the lineup. Junior
Chris Ly kicked the winning with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles, before teaming with graduate student
Ryan O'Keefe for an 8-0 shutout at No. 3 doubles.
O'Keefe dropped the first set at No. 5 singles, before rebounding to take the final two convincingly 6-2, 6-4. Freshman
