PURCHASE, N.Y. (February 14, 2017) - Sophomore Tyler Christie matched his career-high with 16 points to help the FDU men's basketball team snap an eight game losing streak as the Devils topped Manhattanville 90-82 Tuesday.

The Devils move to 7-17 and 4-9 in the MAC Freedom, while the Valiants dropped to 8-16, 4-9 in conference.FDU closes out the regular season with a home game against King's Saturday.

The hosts used a 6-0 run to go up 18-9 just 6:44 into the game, and saw the lead hover around eight points for a majority of the opening half. Freshman Rajaan Dixon, who was making his second straight start, converted 10 straight markers in a 2:03 stretch to give the Devils a two-point lead. With seven ticks remaining in the first stanza, sophomore Anthony Mitchell canned a trey to FDU a four point edge heading into the halftime break.

Sophomore Eric Ray banged home his first three pointer of the season which started a 12-0 run for the Devils, and a trey from Mitchell stretched the lead to 15.
