ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – The FDU-Florham women's soccer dropped a tough 1-0 decision to Eastern University in a Middle Atlantic Freedom Conference match at Olsen Field Saturday afternoon.
The Devils fall to 8-6 on the season and 1-3 in the conference as the Eagles improve to 6-5 and 3-1 in the MAC Freedom.
Both squads played an evenly matched game as FDU-Florham slightly outshot their opponent, 9-8. The contest went scoreless for 80 minutes until Eastern was able to convert off corner kick to take a 1-0 lead with just 10 minutes remaining.
