WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson-University men's tennis team returned to the court in mid-season form, defeating Lycoming College, 6-3, on Friday, Sept. 23 at Bruce Henry Park.
The Devils went to 1-0 on the season as the Warriors dropped to 1-3.
Junior
Max Moscowitz kicked things off with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over his opponent. Junior
Chris Ly added to the Devils success with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
In his collegiate debut, freshman
Kevin Weller proved himself with a solid 6-4, 6-1 victory.
Steven Serra capped off singles competition by defating his opponent, 7-5, 6-2.
In doubles competition, Moscowitz teamed up with junior
Jason Dubinsky to grab an 8-3 win while Ly and Weller paired up for a dominating 8-1 triumph.
The Devils return to action on Sunday, Oct. 2 for the FDU-Florham men's doubles invite in Madison, N.J.
