MADISON, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham women's volleyball team fell to DeSales University, 3-0, on Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the Ferguson Recreation Center in conference play.
The Devils fall to 4-3 on the season as the Bulldogs, ranked No. 2 in the MAC Freedom, improved to 8-2.
DeSales took command of the court early in first set scoring five straight and never letting up the lead from there. The Devils fell 25-11 in the first set.
The second highlighted more of the same as the Bulldogs won 25-13 despite aggressive attacking from junior

The Devils made their best case for a win in the third set but ultimately fell short, 30-28.
Harris and Gaffney led the Devils with eight kills each and combined totals of 72 total attacks and 27 digs.
Sophomore
Kate Quinlan added pressure with eight kills as junior
Rachel Catena held off the Bulldogs with 12 digs and junior
Courtney Conte collected 26 assists in the defeat.
The Devils return to action on Friday, Sept. 16 in the Roadrunner Invitational at Ramapo College where they first face New Paltz at 6 p.m.
