MAHWAH, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham men's tennis team (6-7) was defeated 9-0 by the Ramapo College Roadrunners (7-2) on Wednesday afternoon.
After dropping first and second doubles matches 8-0, sophomore Steven Serras and freshman Jonathan Ford were able to win two games in third doubles but ultimately fell 8-2.
Senior Ryan O'Keefe dropped the opening set of fourth singles 6-1 but won two games in the second set despite the 6-2 loss.
Serras took the court again in fifth singles and won three games in the opening set against Adam Petrovics. However, he was unable to come out on top and fell 6-3 in the set and 6-1 in the second set.
The Devils will return to the court on Saturday, April 9 for a MAC Freedom match against Eastern University in St. David's Pa. slated for 1 p.m.
