Men's Tennis Blanked by Colonels

EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham men's tennis team was blanked 9-0 by first-place Wilkes University at Ralston Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The Devils (8-9, 2-2 MAC Freedom) were unable to break through against the Colonels (18-1, 4-0 MAC Freedom), who remain unbeaten in conference action.

The Devils closest matches of the day came in doubles play with 8-3 defeats in both first and third doubles. Max Moscowitz and Rich Bennett battled in first doubles before falling to Dominic Parfianowicz and Jacob Parfianowicz 8-3.

In third doubles, Jason Dubinsky and Steven Serras also came up short 8-3, dropping their match to Collin Strunk and Artyom Nabokin.

The Devils are back in action tomorrow with a pair of home matches against Berkeley College and the New School.
