DALLAS, P.A. -  The FDU-Florham women's soccer team was unable to answer two first half goals from the first place Misericordia University Cougars Saturday night.

With a strong wind at their back Misericordia took advantage of the early lead on a shot just outside of the box for the eventual game winner. 

The resilient Devils stood tall defensively in the second period with strong performances by defenders Missy Quinn and Ashley Granato which limited Misericordia's front line and kept the Devils within reach.

With minutes to go, senior midfielder Brittni Calleo's free kick attempt from 25 yards out sailed just over the bar. 

Senior goalkeeper Annie George was brilliant in net and kept the Devils in the match with a strong performance and ten saves.

The Devils return to action for senior night and their last regular season home game against cross town rival Drew University on Tuesday, October 25th at 7pm
