DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -- The FDU-Florham women's soccer dropped a tough double-overtime conference loss to Delaware Valley, 2-1, on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Lipinski Field.
The Aggies pulled ahead 17 minutes into the first on a goal from Taylor Boyer.
Delaware Valley held the 1-0 lead throughout the majority of the contest until senior forward
Kristen Fila netted a goal for the Devils at 82:32 to force overtime.Â
Despite the Devils outplaying the Aggies with a 16-4 shot advantage, Delaware Valley found a way to break through with just their second shot on goal of the night. Samantha Greim capitalized on a cross to earn the golden goal 102:22.
FDU-Florham returns home to take on Eastern University on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. at Robert T. Shields Field.
