RAMAPO, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham women's soccer team suffered their first loss of 2015, dropping a non-conference road match to Ramapo College 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
After totaling eight goals in their first two games this season, the Devils (2-1) were blanked on Sunday by the Roadrunners (2-0), who have not allowed a goal in either of their outings.

Nicole Ninomiya supplied all of the scoring by netting her third and fourth goals of the young season.

Annie George had a busy afternoon and made 11 stops in the loss. George's stellar play helped keep the game scoreless through one half of play despite Ramapo's 10-2 advantage in shot attempts. In total, the Roadrunners outshot the Devils 22-5 on the afternoon, including 13-2 in on target attempts.
In the 57th minute, Ramapo broke through when Ninomiya snuck a shot past George for the game's first score. Five minutes later, the Roadrunners struck again when
Autumn Herring sent a free kick from 20-yards out to Ninomiya, who headed it into the back of the net for the 2-0 final.

Carly Bresney each put a shot on goal in the loss.
The Devils return home for their next contest this Tuesday, September 8 against Kean University at 7 p.m.
