MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham volleyball team continued its winning ways on Saturday, sweeping both City College of New York (CCNY) and College of Mount St. Vincent in straight-sets at the Ferguson Recreation Center.
The Devils (10-2, 1-0 MAC Freedom) have now won seven-straight matches. In their first match the Devils took down CCNY 3-0 (25-5, 25-20,25-14) as 11 different players recorded at least one kill in the one-sided win.
Brenna Bobrove and
Natalie Knudsen led the charge for FDU-Florham with six kills apiece, while
Courtney Conte dished out a career-high 21 assists.
In their second match of the day, the Devils conquered the Dolphins of Mount St. Vincent 25-20, 25-19, 25-14. Freshman
Lauren Harris continued her outstanding first season in Madison by leading all players with 14 kills. The setting duo of
Codi Inloes-Williams and
Kristi Wong handed out 17 and 14 assists apiece in the three-set victory.
The Devils return to MAC Freedom action when they visit Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to take on Wilkes University this Tuesday, September 22 at 7 p.m.
