ORLANDO, Fla. -- The FDU-Florham women's lacrosse team exploded for 18 goals in an 18-5 rout of Nichols College on Tuesday afternoon at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
Senior attack
Courtney Rendinaro (Hillsborough, N.J.) lit up the scoreboard with four goals and six assists in the victory. Rendinaro, the school's all-time leader in assists, matched her career, single-game high with the six helpers. In addition to her 10 points, the senior also added five draw controls and a ground ball to her ledger.
The Devils (3-2) led 9-2 at the half and never looked back, tacking on another nine second-half goals in the lopsided victory. Sophomores
Brienna Reasoner (Flemington, N.J.) and
Joelle Manganella (Kenvil, N.J.) each netted hat tricks in the win, as nine different Devils scored in total.
Senior
Dana Amorosi (Deptford, N.J.) and sophomore
Frances Maggio (Bound Brook, N.J.) also tallied multi-goal efforts with two goals apiece.
For the Bison (1-2), senior
Alyssa Bufis and sophomore
Brooke Marion each scored two goals.
The Devils close out their two-game Florida trip when they take on Hope College this Thursday, March 19 at 11 a.m.
