MADISON, N.J. – FDU-Florham men's tennis senior
AJ Warden (Deland, Fla./Deland) earned career win number fifty on Sunday afternoon, as the Devils defeated Rutgers-Newark 6-3.
Warden became the second men's tennis player this season to reach the milestone, joining teammate
Kevin Kotsak (South Amboy, N.J./South Amboy) in the 50-win club.
Warden won his singles match 6-0, 6-0, while
Ryan Kearns (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough),
Ryan Hurdes (Succasunna, N.J./CCM),
Nikola Radovic (Belgrade, Serbia/Fourteenth Belgrade), and
Danny Aviles (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) also picked up victories in singles competition.
The teams of Kearns/Warden and Radovic/
Jonsin Aybalik (Cliffside Park, N.J./Cliffside Park) also picked up victories in doubles competition.
The win wraps up regular-season play for FDU-Florham, as the Devils will take on King's College in the Freedom Conference Tournament this Wednesday, April 30
th in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
