Box Score MADISON, N.J. -- The fifth-ranked FDU-Florham Devils women's basketball team wrapped up the home-portion of their regular season by defeating Eastern University 77-51 on Tuesday night at the Ferguson Recreation Center.

Four Devils scored in double-digits in the contest, which included 12 points each from Kara Dayon (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Central) and freshman point guard Alyssa McDonough (Parlin, N.J./Sayreville). The two Devils combined to shoot 4-for 6 from long range in the win.

FDU-Florham has derailed opponents all season with their hostile defense and tonight was no different. The Devils forced the Eagles to commit 17 first-half turnovers (28 total), which resulted in 17 steals for FDU-Florham in the contest.

With 11:47 to play in the opening half, the Eagles held an 11-10 lead before the Devils put together a 20-4 run, which equated to a 30-15 advantage for the home team. Halfway through the second stanza, the Devils increased their lead to 20 points and continued control for the remainder of the game en route to the 26-point victory.
