CAMDEN, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham volleyball team closed out their 2014 campaign with a 3-0 (25-17, 29-27, 25,17) victory over Rutgers-Camden on Saturday afternoon.
The Devils (17-18, 3-4 Freedom) were in control from the outset and rolled to the straight-set win.
In the victory, freshman
Melissa Gaffney (League City, Texas) led all players with 12 kills, while sophomore
DeAnna D'Amico (Totowa, N.J.) added 11 kills on the day. Additionally, Gaffney recorded a double-double by totaling 11 digs.
Freshman setter
Codi Inloes-Williams (Palmer Lake, Colo.) handed out 30 assists in the comfortable victory as the Devils hit for .395 and .314 attack percentages in the second and third sets.
For the Scarlet Raiders,
Olivia Rowand put away a team-high seven kills in the loss, while
Caitlin Marchlowitz recorded 13 digs.
