Box Score MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils men's basketball team fell to Delaware Valley College 73-57 in a battle for the top of the Freedom Conference standings on Wednesday night at the Ferguson Recreation Center.

The Devils (9-9, 4-3 Freedom) entered the night tied with the Aggies, DeSales University and Misericordia University for the top spot in the standings with 4-2 records in conference play.

FDU struggled to slow down the hot-shooting of Delaware Valley junior forward Jay Donovan, who knocked down all five of his first-half three-pointers and led the Aggies to a 41-28 lead at the break. Donovan finished with a game-high 25 points and converted seven of his 10 attempts from beyond the arc. Senior forward Will Green (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) totaled 14 points and eight rebounds for the Devils in the loss.

FDU scored the first five points of the second half before two baskets by Delaware Valley big man Chris Moran and a three-ball by Donovan built the Aggie lead to 15 at 48-33. The Aggies remained in control throughout the remainder of the contest and earned the double-digit victory.
