Will Green (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) notched his eighth double-double of the season as the FDU-Florham Devils men's basketball team defeated Wilkes University 65-54 on Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference play.
The Devils (9-8, 4-2 MAC) held a seven-point advantage at the break and did not look back, holding onto the lead for the entire second half en route to the double-digit victory.

Tyler Jackson knocked down a three-pointer to cut the FDU lead to seven at 43-36. The Devils followed Jackson's long-ball with a 12-0 run and built their largest lead of the contest at 19 points. FDU guard
John Flete (Flemington, N.J./North Hampton CC) was the catalyst in the Devils run and scored eight of the team's 12 points over the six-minute stretch. Flete finished with a game-high 22 points and added seven rebounds with four assists in the win.
FDU maintained their lead for the remainder of the contest despite only converting 10 of their 20 second-half free throw attempts. Green finished with 13 points and 13 boards, while fellow senior
Trevor Sykes (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's Boys) chipped in with 15 points and seven rebounds for FDU, who has now won back-to-back conference games.
Jackson led the way for the Colonels tallying 13 points and sophomore
Jim Brackett added 10 points and four rebounds for Wilkes in defeat. The loss drops Wilkes to 6-10 on the season and 1-5 in the conference.
