MADISON, NJ - The top-seeded College at Florham Devils are set to take on second-seeded Arcadia in the Championship Game of the Freedom Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
The two squads met back on April 10 with FDU earning a 12-11 victory on their home field. Senior midfielder
Katie Rolwood led the Devils with six goals while senior midfielder
Sara Slicklen and sophomore attack
Courtney Rendinaro each had three goals. For the Knights,
Dawn Faranetta tallied six goals while
Haylee Molloy and
Jaclyn Feffer produced two goals apiece.
Earlier this week, Rolwood was named Freedom Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Freedom while sophomore defenders
Caitlyn McGinley and
Samantha Guido and sophomore goalkeeper
Grace Warburton joined her on the First Team. Rendinaro was named Second Team All-Freedom while Slicklen and junior defender
Nicole Testa were named Honorable Mention. Faranetta was named Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Freedom for Arcadia while Molloy,
Megan Fallon, and
Johanna Castiblanco were also named to the First Team.
Katie Bauer and
Jordyn Dunacusky were named Second Team while Feffer was named Honorable Mention.
