Box Score MADISON, NJ - Senior midfielder
Katie Rolwood tallied five goals and three assists to lead the College at Florham Devils to an 18-11 win over Manhattanville in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday evening in game that saw the Devils clinch the top spot and homefield advantage in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament. Rolwood's fifth and final goal of the game gave her 73 on the season which is now first All-Time in FDU history in single-season goals, breaking the previous record of
Amanda Wayne.
With the win, the Devils improved to 9-7 (5-0 Freedom) while the Valiants dropped to 4-11 (3-2 Freedom).
FDU got off to a sizzling start, scoring four goals in the first 2:28 of the game to take a 4-0 lead on goals from four different players. Manhattanville scored two of the next three to cut it to 5-2 but sophomore defender
Caitlin McGinley and Rolwood scored back-to-back goals to give FDU a 7-2 lead with 12:05 left in the first half. That's when the Valiants made their best push of the game though, tallying four of the next five goals to pull to within 8-6 with 4:42 to go. The Devils responded by closing out the half with three straight goals however, to take an 11-6 lead into intermission.
The Devils came out and really put the game away to start the second half, as they scored seven of the first eight goals to grab an 18-7 lead with 20:05 remaining. Rolwood was the catalyst during the run, scoring three goals with the record breaker coming with 25:21 left in the game. The Valiants scored the final four goals of the game to reach the final score of 18-11 but it was too little, too late as FDU secured the number one seed in the conference tournament.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 27, 2013, with their regular season finale at King's beginning at 1 pm.
