WILKES-BARRE, PA - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's tennis teams were defeated by King's on Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference action.  The men lost by a score of 6-3 while the women fell by a margin of 9-0.

With the loss, the men are now 3-10 (1-2 Freedom) while the women are 2-12 (0-4 Freedom).

Junior Ryan Hurdes led the men by winning at fifth singles (6-1, 6-0) while combining with junior Kevin Kotsak to win at third doubles (9-8). Junior Nasar Mannan earned the other win, taking sixth singles by a count of 7-6 (7-1), 7-5.

Junior Megan Scherer came closest to victory on the women's side, falling at first singles by a score of 6-1, 6-2.

Both teams return to action on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Eastern beginning at 3:30 pm.
