NEWARK, NJ - The College at Florham Devils defeated Rutgers-Newark, 5-4, in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils improved to 3-9 while Newark dropped to 1-6.

Junior Ryan Kearns paced FDU by winning second singles (3-6, 6-2, 6-2) while teaming with junior Kevin Kotsak to take second doubles (8-2).  Junior Nasar Mannan won at third singles (6-4, 6-7, 6-2), senior Nate Pike took sixth singles (6-0, 6-1) and the team of junior Brian Rifici and Nikola Radovic won at third doubles (9-8).

The Devils return to action on Friday, April 12, 2013, at home against Albright beginning at 2 pm.
