MADISON, NJ - In two rain-shortened matches, the College at Florham Devils men's and women's tennis teams were defeated by Wilkes on Wednesday afternoon.  The men suffered a 6-0 defeat while the women were knocked off by a count of 7-0.

With the loss, the men are now 2-9 (1-1 Freedom) while the women stand at 2-11 (0-3 Freedom).

Junior Ryan Hurdes came closest to picking up a win for the men as he fell at third singles by a count of 6-2, 6-3 while the team of juniors Ryan Kearns and Nasar Mannan lost at first doubles by a margin of 8-3.

Junior Jenna Cowie and sophomore Michelle Berkenstock came closest on the women's side as they were defeated by a score of 8-1 in first doubles.

The men return to action on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Rutgers Newark beginning at 5 pm while the women play again on Friday, April 12, 2013, at home against Albright beginning at 2 pm.
