Box Score MADISON, NJ - Leading 9-6 at halftime, Stevens erupted for 11 goals in the second half to defeat the College at Florham Devils by a score of 20-8 in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 1-3 while the Ducks improved to 2-1.

After Stevens scored the first goal of the game, FDU got back-to-back goals from senior midfielder Katie Rolwood and junior attack Ashley Schlindwein to take a 2-1 lead.  The Ducks responded by scoring five of the next six goals though, to take a 6-3 advantage with 15:32 left in the first half.  Rolwood found the back of the net to make it 6-4 but Stevens then scored three in a row to go up by a count of 9-4 with 2:33 to go.  The Devils rallied however, and took some momentum into halftime when senior attack Sara Slicklen and sophomore midfielder Courtney Rendinaro scored in the final minute to pull the Devils to within 9-6 heading into the break.

The Ducks came hot to start the second half and essentially put the game out of reach by scoring seven of the first eight goals to take a 16-7 lead with 19:49 to play.  Rolwood make it 16-8 but the Ducks scored the final four goals of the contest to secure the win.

Rolwood finished the game with four goals, five draw controls, and four caused turnovers while Rendinaro added a goal and an assist.  Sophomore goalkeeper Grace Warburton suffered the loss in net, making 14 saves.

The Devils return to action on Friday, March 8, 2013, at home against Lycoming beginning at 4 pm.
